2 colorways of the Nike Air Max Plus 7 on SoleBook.
The Nike Air Max Plus, better known as the TN, has spawned several sequels since its 1998 debut, and the Air Max Plus 7 sits among the later chapters in that lineage. Where the original TN carried Sean McDowell's wavy gradient uppers and tuned air pods into skate parks and European club scenes, the "7" iterations pushed the silhouette's DNA further from its running roots, leaning harder into aggressive tooling and layered mesh panels built for street wear rather than track mileage. Nike used the numbered Plus series to experiment with updated cushioning setups and exaggerated Tuned Air units, giving each release its own proportions while keeping the recognizable gradient overlays and wavy stitch lines intact. The Air Max Plus 7 never carried the cultural weight of the original TN, which remains a cult favorite across the UK, France, and parts of Southeast Asia, but it found its own following among collectors chasing deeper cuts of the franchise. Retail runs were limited compared to the OG, and colorways leaned toward moodier, tonal palettes. Regarded now as a niche entry, it reflects Nike's ongoing habit of mining the TN's silhouette for fresh takes rather than letting it stay frozen in its late-90s form.
