Bone · HQ6316
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Bone," released under SKU HQ6316, is one of the later colorways to drop after adidas severed ties with Kanye West (Ye) in late 2022. Part of a wave of remaining Yeezy inventory that adidas decided to sell off, with proceeds partly directed to organizations impacted by Ye's comments, the "Bone" colorway continues the V2's tradition of tonal, minimalist palettes. It features a stark white/off-white Primeknit upper with a matching midsole, stripped of the usual side stripe branding, giving it a clean, almost blank-canvas aesthetic reminiscent of earlier "Bone White" and "Triple White" iterations. Unlike hyped early V2 drops that sold out in seconds and commanded huge resale premiums, this release landed in a very different climate: reduced hype, mixed feelings about the brand's future, and easier availability at retail. Reception was subdued compared to the frenzy of 2017-2018 Yeezy culture, with many buyers viewing it as a solid, wearable neutral rather than a grail. Still, "Bone" remains a notable footnote in the Yeezy V2 lineage.
